Principles of treating customers fairly

Cathay Life is committed to internalizing the spirit of “treating customers fairly” in its employees. In 2018, we became the first in the industry to establish the Treating Customers Fairly Committee, which is actively partaken and promoted by the Board of Directors to protect the interest and rights of customers. In 2020, the KPIs for the principles of treating customers fairly will be established based on three major aspects, including service, equity rights and professional skills, so as to measure the achievement rate of execution strategies for each principle. To treat customers fairly during the sales process, the president gave special instructions to set nine key before-, during-, and aftersales indicators in 2021, and develop a dashboard to monitor the implementation of the principles of treating customers fairly. In 2022, Cathay Life’s business personnel visited customers in large and small towns in Taiwan, provided customers experience on the concept of “Walk with You.”
